Stud / 8 and Donkaments

Been playing some stud 8 and am up about half a buy in. It's a really fun game.
Also nursing a 5K stack at the first break of a $ 1 tournament. Stacked two players pretty badly first hour. First important hand villain raises 3xBB from LP. I call in the SB with 67ss. Flop is 89T one spade. I check he bets out 150 i raise him to 450. He calls. Turn is 5s so I push my 1100 stack and he snap calls with a 7 for an OESD, it doesn't hit and i double up. Next important hand BB = 50. I open it to 175 in LP with KThh. Flop is T84. I bet 400 into a 400 chip pot. Villain calls. Turn is a brick I push and he calls with 55 for a medium pair. I hold and am up to about 5.5k. Good luck to me the rest of the way.
